Established in the late 1940s by Charles and Ronald Chapman, the family firm of R.Chapman & Co. has been synonymous with the manufacture of split cane bamboo fishing rods and split cane bamboo fishing blanks for over fifty years. Throughout the 1950's and 60's the Company introduced many innovative rod designs which have become part of angling history and much sought after by collectors and traditionalists. The Company was also one of the first to introduce five-strip bamboo fly and coarse rods to the British angler. Today they are in their third generation of family members still practicing the traditional skills of the bamboo rod-maker.

All prices are inclusive of: an impregnated split cane fly rod blank with premium REC ferrules, high grade wood insert up-locking reel seat, flour grade slim half wells cork handle, traditional agate lined stripper and English hard chrome snake guides, hook keeper, fine silk whippings, an Egyptian cotton rod bag and cordura rod tube.
